Here are four pics we got today! It was extremely fun to see Lydia in such detail. During the ultrasound I was just taking it all in. On another note, the technician checked everything out - her blood supply, fluid level, kidneys, stomach, heart rate, heart, lady parts (yes, she is still a girl!), movement, breathing, placenta, etc. - and everything looked normal. Praise the Lord! She was sleeping and stretching during the ultrasound and we tried to wake her up. (My theory on her sleepiness is because Ryan woke up at 5 am and the dogs, as usual, finished napping with me. However, Bronco kept licking and licking his paws for the next hour....Shelby, Lydia, and I didn't appreciate that.)
They estimate her weight to be 6 lbs, 8 oz which is the 61st percentile. Unfortunately but understandably, they can't really get a valid length on babies because they are so crammed in there.
We think that the first picture looks exactly like Ryan...much to his dismay, lol. What do you think? 4 weeks and counting....
