During a recent phone call to my dear friend, we realized we had the same problem of messy cars. (It is nice to find people who struggle along side of you in motherhood.) For me at least, I never get the chance (or desire) to clean out the car. I'm doing pretty well, just getting my little one buckled-in with a filled sippy. So, as it were, cleaning out my car is something that never gets done.
My front seat: mail, McD's bag, V8 cans, raincoat,
coffee cups, ubiquitous cheerios etc.
Backseat: Supersaver coupon rejects, random stuffed animal,
Lydia's putter etc.
Carseat: enough cheerios stashed away to feed Lydia for a month
Also, this plentiful pile of boxes sits at the back of our house. They have been meaning to hoist themselves into a dumpster but have not gotten a chance.
Boxes for Lydia's crib, stroller, exersauser, carseat...yep, most of these
have been outside for 8 months.
Hahaha! Glad you did this post. We are totally on the same page. I could take the exact same pictures of my house. I did recently clean my car though and then D dropped a sippy of milk under the seat and I didn't see it, forgot about it for 3 days until I could smell the evidence. Guess not much has changed!
